Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

A Happy Homecoming
My mysterious Number One Fan appears to be back from vacation again. Welcome back, buddy! Always lovely to see you again.
And I confirm -- it's not me. ---Her Mother (though I am her Number One Fan in a wider sense, recent postings about embarrassing parents notwithstanding. For the record, parents should be allowed to sing.)
Hey, mom. What embarrassing parent postings? I protest! Admittedly I brought up the only picture book you ever really loathed, but we were in agreement on that one.
