Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Everything Is Funnier In Danish
Case in point, the very first Captain Underpants has been translated into the language in question. The cover:
Make sure you pronounce that

which rhymes with
gunner-toolers... Danish r's are soft soft soft!
Gotcha. You rightly realized I had no idea how to pronounce the words.
