No no, librarians like Buffy because it was a remarkably intelligent show hiding behind the facade of a common vampire concept. Hell = high school with each episode, at first anyway, representing some aspect of the world, only taken to its logical extreme. I've found that many, like Alkelda up there, would watch one episode and not get into it. So try watching two. Trust me, it's worth it.fusenumber8https://www.blogger.com/profile/16216979020263363698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15089389.post-1156715658215345982006-08-27T17:54:00.000-04:002006-08-27T17:54:00.000-04:00So librarians like Buffy because of Giles? So librarians like Buffy because of Giles?Gail Gauthierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01673131515563387968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15089389.post-1156622067849504592006-08-26T15:54:00.000-04:002006-08-26T15:54:00.000-04:00I can't resist this one.See my article on Giles ht...I can't resist this one.

See my article on Giles

http://www.well.com/user/ladyhawk/giles.html

Still a Buffy fan,Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15089389.post-1156618063568256422006-08-26T14:47:00.000-04:002006-08-26T14:47:00.000-04:00I never knew I loved Buffy until a month ago, when...I never knew I loved Buffy until a month ago, when Bede and I started watching Season One. I'd tried watching one episode once, and didn't get into it. Well, now I see what all the fuss is about, and I am thrilled that I can see the episodes at my own pace. I am kvelling to the female as the action hero while the male (Giles) is the researcher. I do have some criticisms of the library, though. For one thing, it's badly lit. For another, the shelves don't seem to be that secure for a structure that's built on top of a natural disaster area. Still, I've got to give Giles credit for having the library tidied up at the beginning of each episode, no matter how much destruction the forces of evil wreaked upon it the week before.Saints and Spinnershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733517166056974501noreply@blogger.com
