The Babysitter's Club - A 21st Century Update

I received this e-mail from the always charming Raina Telgemeier. You may be unaware of the fact, but Ms. Telgemeier is the soul responsible for the hotsy totsy Babysitter's Club: Kristy's Great Idea graphic novel that's due out in April. Here's some info if you'd like it:

Last year when I was in Toronto, I was interviewed by
Mark Askwith for The Space Channel, a cable network in
Canada. They have just now posted the clip on their
website. It's a one-minute featurette on me, and on my
book! Please check it out:

Pretty neat, huh? The official release date of The
Baby-sitters Club is April 1, but it'll be showing up
on store shelves through March, so you'll have to keep
an eye out. All online orders through sites like
Amazon will ship on April 1.

The link below will show you the Amazon.com page for it. I've seen it and it's exceedingly faithful to the original. For certain women of a certain age, nothing will come between them and BSC. And I can personally attest that the original paperbacks with their awful 1980s ponytail-sprouting-from-the-crest-of-the-head covers do not stop girls from STILL checking them out. Methinks this GN is gonna hit the market like gangbusters.
