Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

The Man Who Hated Pooh
Just swiped this puppy from the endlessly useful Kids Lit blog (which, if you haven't added it to your list of children's literature blogs is a crime against humanity itself). It concerns itself with E.H. Shepard, the man who illustrated Winnie-the-Pooh as well as The Wind In the Willows back in the day. And despite its catchy title, "hate" is a bit of a strong word. Still an interesting read though.
