Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

Unheard Of
On this blog you will note that on the right side of the screen I have a selection of blogs found under the title, These Have Nothing To Do With Children's Literature. They Just Make Me Happy. Well apparently Miss Snark, one of my favorite blogs, has given this title a smack in the jaw. In an unprecedented move, The Fabulous Miss S highly recommends a reading of The Amulet of Samarkand. I, of course, agree with her posting, but I'm baffled by why she is now giving an eye to my realm of expertise. Might this be a whole new interest on Miss Snark? Time will tell.
