Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

Howzabout Some Debate?
Things are quiet around here. Too quiet. So let's liven things up with a little Roger Suttony goodness. Today Mr. S broke down Branch #1 of the Triumverate of Mediocrity while also talking about the mightily controversial The Boy In the Striped Pajamas. Have you guys been keeping up with this debate? Well Roger's giving it the old aught eight, and no one (thus far) has disagreed with him. I suppose I need to read that book, eh? *sigh*
