Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Just saw these on children's book editor Alvina's blog. Woah nelly.
Ahh. I saw these once in Tucson--the only time in my life. Mine were fewer and larger, and very round. I just learned that they're called Mammatus, thanks to you and Alvina.
