Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

Podcasty Goodness
If you're going to go into the raucous world of YA literature, it's good to have an edge. Something that sets you apart from the pack. Serialized podcasting, for that very reason, might be the answer to your prayers then. L. Lee Lowe, author of The Mortal Ghost, has placed the first chapter of his book online for perusal. I'm not much for YA lit (leave that to the professionals, I always say) but I like the Can Do attitude Mr. Lowe sports. Go get 'em, tiger!
