Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Brian Selznick Bonanaza
You'll be hearing quite a lot about the curious Mr. Selznick in the coming months, I suspect. His beautiful must-read Invention of Hugo Cabret is poised to sweep the nation in one fell swoop.
