Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

Wiki Novel
One minute I'm saying one thing, and the next I've done a 180 and I'm saying another. Oh, fickle blogger me. So basically, I'm deeply amused by the whole idea of a wiki novel. I even thought how odd it would be if someone were to create a children's wiki book. Little did I know that Kelly Herold at Big A little a was way ahead of me there. As you can see from her posting, she gave it a little boost and then encourages anyone who wants to help write it to give her your e-mail address and away you'll go. I played around with it a little yesterday, which was fun. Give it a whirl if you've the yen.
