Children's literature is not for the weak. It is a ruthless cutthroat business with lots of gnashes of the teeth. Children's librarianship, in contrast, is a sweet sweet ride. Now you can hear me as I growl, gargle, and kvetch my way through news, reviews, and interviews. Kidlit podcasting = scary new world.

For the "Colbert Report" Watchers Amongst Us
The new catchphrase that's sweeping the nation is now, "Librarians are hiding something." I intend to use this willy-nilly. Copyright be damned.
Not yet. Nor are they dead to him. Thank God he hasn't figured out that the world's most notorious kidlit bear (my dear Pooh) is housed in a library not far from his studio.
