Happy 108th Birthday Ludwig Bemelmans
Just kidding. He's dead. But he would have been 108 had he lived just a touch longer. In his honor let us all fall into rivers to be rescued by dogs and go to the nearest tigers in our local zoos. You know what to do to them.

I have a couple of kids who would be more than happy for a good excuse to fall off a bridge, or at least into a watery ditch, and get soaking wet in his honor.
And I think you, madame, should hie yourself off to the Bemelmans Bar after work today to drink a glass in his memory!
