Just In Case the Whole Acting Thing Didn't Work Out

Jamie Lee Curtis has sort of gone down as the celeb children's book author that earns almost as little flack as Julie Andrews Edwards. Yet did you know that she's also an inventor as well? Thanks to a little site on Celebrity Patents we now know that back in 1987 Ms. Curtis filed her one-of-a-kind Infant Garment. Later she'd begin writing books for kids as well. Which leads me to wonder why, if she likes kids so much, she's never done a good children's film (and we are NOT counting that 2001 Rudolph movie, thank you very much).

Oh yeah. Forgot about that one. I'm just such a hardcore fan of the original (Jodie Foster is so fabulously butch in that film) that I kinda blocked out the other. It is good?

Hey - she was also in the My Girl movie - where Macauley Culkin was actually sweet and Dan Ackroyd was an appealing funeral director....
