Toy Instructions Wiki

We're off topic but since this involves (A) Reading and (B) Children, then I figure I'm halfway there anyway.

Toy instructions. Horrible horrible toy instructions. A birthday or gift-giving holiday of some sort is coming up and you are sitting at the dining room table faced with 5,000 pieces of something and (bum bum bum) toy instructions. To whom do you turn for help?

Consider then the Toy Instructions Wiki. Yet another example of why wikis are so doggone important in this world. Now the problem with promoting new wikis is that in their infancy they don't contain much content. To give them content, they need to be advertised. But in advertising them, you have to face the fact that they don't have much content. And around and around it goes. If you happen to have a secret toy instruction you've been hoarding over the years, now's the time to share.

Thanks to Z Recommends for the link.

What a nice surprise! Thanks for the link.

We are getting a lot of traffic but no contributions yet. We are, ironically, getting a bit of user input by browsing the searched-for items in our site stats, and work to add info based on what people are looking for. Sort of a back-door route to interactivity, but it works!

We will be drumming up major karmic transfers to anyone who scans and posts their own instructions for odd toys to Flickr and labels them "toyinstructions" - do so and we will find your instructions and post a link to the site!
