Happy Easter - Video Sunday Goes All Springy

Spring hath sprung, though you wouldn't know it to look out your window right now. Irregardless, I've some chipper and disturbing Spring-like videos for you this Easter '07. First and foremost, however, let's look at a slideshow via The New York Times. It features a collection of Roz Chast's Easter eggs which are just fabulous.

The series is lovely to look at, but the person doing the captions apparently had no sense of humor whatsoever. On featuring this picture:


The caption is, "Some of her eggs display her passionate interest in intricate decorative ornamentation. This one, of a bald and grimacing head, is more conceptual." Godalmighty. Save us all from those who wish to imbue deeper meanings into funny painted eggsies.
