How To Write a Book

She has not written for children yet but she did pen the rather tasty Gods In Alabama. Here is what Joshilyn Jackson says about writing:

"I think the best way to let the reader meet your characters is to put them all in a room and then light one of them on fire."


Amen to that. And a tip of the hat to her blog for the quote. What's more, she has a great post that mentions how much she HATES branch #2 of the Triumverate of Mediocrity.
