God help me, I was feeling cheeky. And you should all know that the reference to The Looking Glass Wars is not a strike against John le Carre's Cold War classic. Give me some credit, after all.
Well, I was trying to find a children's movie that was the most grotesque adaptation of a children's book. "Ella Enchanted" was such a sweet book. You knew you could pretty much give up on the movie once the words "magical elf" popped up.
Very funny! Were you also aware that there is a Rainbow Fish movie? Had a friend who worked at a production house here in Ottawa called Sound Venture. They did an animated version. In case you were looking to add to the list.
Wow. Still, a Rainbow Fish movie and the book itself would be overkill for an On Notice Board, I think. Good point about "The Cat In the Hat", Pooja. I'll have to do a second On Notice board to include it.
Spoken like a true fan. The site I got this from doesn't have Dead To Me boards, but when they do (as they surely must) rest assured that the Triumverate will find a happy home.

AWESOME.
Love it. "Ella Enchanted the movie," really? Why?

A children's movie that was the most grotesque adaptation of a children's book? Cat in the Hat, no? I heard The Polar Express was pretty bad, too.

Yes, yes, more On Notice boards! And don't forget the Dead to Me boards. That's really where the Triumvirate of Mediocrity goes.
