You Don't Need A Blog - So Go Nominate
I know you're all sick as sin to here me once more talk about my precious little Cybil Award. Still, it occurs to me that I may have been unclear in the past. I want you to go to the Cybil Award homepage and nominate the best children's books of the year (one per category) AND you don't need to be a blogger to do it. Nope. Just go on, nominate, and watch for the results.

I'm a little unclear myself: Must a book be nominated in order to be considered? Surely you, at a minimum, will know of dozens of books that might not get nominated but that are nonetheless worthy of consideration.http
Yes, a book does have to be nominated to be considered. The reasoning behind the one book per category thinking is that this way we can keep publishers from nominating their entire catalogs. Also, if a person narrows down all the year's choices to a single title, it must be a pretty special book. And since we're going to pick only one book in each category, better to choose from the best rather than EVERYTHING.
