2007 Gryphon Award Announced
According to Children's Bookjoy, the 2007 Gryphon Award from the CCB has been announced. The winner is The True Story of Stellina by Matteo Pericoli. A great book that definitely deserved to be on more lists last year. Very sweet and entirely deserving of the win.

the center for children's books (ccb), which puts out the bulletin of the center for children's books (bccb) is in illinois. the cooperative children's book center (ccbc) is in wisconsin. which one gives the Gryphon?
Oh, thank heavens. I thought I was losing my mind. Couldn't find any evidence at all of the CCBC giving it out. CCB then. Phew! Thanks for the catch.
