The Shoes Make the Woman
Alkelda the Gleeful has found me shoes to wear with my red dress.
What do you think? I'm thinking I'd have to grow a second pair of feet just the match the fearful awesomeness of these items.

I think I'd be afraid, intrigued, but afraid.
Oh, wow. Wowza.
My 7-month pregnant self saw these, and half of me said, "Oooo! Me want" and the other half said, "oh, the pain! the pain!"
If you wear these, there's a good chance that the Wicked Witch of the West will come after you . . . just so you're warned.
Say, why not look up Shannon Hale at the BookExpo and ask her about the "glass slippers" she wore to the Newbery banquet last year? It's a cute story.
Spurs?!
Oh doggone it. I just sat next to Shannon Hale at dinner. Had I but read this I could have asked her about the shoes. Oog.
