La la la la...

Happy birthday to me
Happy birthday to me
Happy biiiiirthday toooo meeeee
Happy birthday too-oo-oo me!

I am 28 years of age today. 28 isn't really an age one celebrates with any special fear or joy, by the way. So far I have received a lovely edition of Wind In the Willows illustrated by Inga Moore and the first season of Fraggle Rock. All is right with the world.

And some cyber roses to you on your b-day!

Hey, I didn't know one could do that! Nifty!

Happy birthday wishes from Canada, too. No geese, homicidal or otherwise, about yet, though.

Happy Birthday to you. How lovely that you share the day with Shakespeare.

Thank you, everybody! I love the roses. I do indeed share my birthday with Shakespeare. Also Shirley Temple Black, Nobokov, and a regrettable former president. Cervantes died on my birthday and it fell on Easter in the year 2000. When I was a kid I thought that might be significant. But thanks for the happy greetings! I feel much loved.

Happy birthday, Fuse! Nabokov, that's cool (and Shakespeare too). I hope you had a great day.

Happy Birthday from Pennsylvania! Today is also the anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf. I don't really know what happened that day, but I love saying Clontarf. Best wishes!

Thank you! I just received this message via e-mail from a nice woman in Germany who liked my Amazon reviews:

Heute kann es regnen, stürmen oder schneien,
denn du strahlst ja selber wie der Sonnenschein!
Wie schön dass du geboren bist,
wir hätten dich sonst sehr vermisst......... la la la la la la

So sing along, everybody! You know the words!
