I'm More a Brick Testament Fan Myself
Apparently today was a slow news day for CNN. Hence this story about a 92-year-old first time children's author. Says one Ms. Laura Lipari, "I'm not an author ... I'm someone who writes from the heart." As opposed to actual authors. They write from their glottuses, I guess.

Why was this story newsworthy? Is a 92-year-old author such a freakish idea it meets the man-bites-dog standard? Oy. Someone get me a dog and I'll bite it.
My point exactly. I'm holding out for a CNN story about a 104-year-old author. Now THAT's newsworthy!
Now if she had written the retelling of the Mesopotamian creation story, that would be interesting news: Ninety-two-year-old grandma shares her faith in lazy gods who killed a minor deity and mixed the blood with clay to make little human grunt workers....
