Off-Topic Posting of the Day

"There is something particularly soul crushing about this" - my husband.

My blog. My rules. My insane off-topic weirdnesses.
I advise you to listen to this wearing headphones. Failing that, make sure your speaker system is in prime working condition. And no. I am not a fan of Nickelback.

The real kicker is that they end at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME. My husband and I were trying to figure out how this sort of thing came about in the first place. We decided it had to be a case where there was a couple and one person in the relationship with a huge Nickelback fan. The other one wasn't and was trying to convince their mate that Nickelback essentially writes the same song over and over. So to prove it they created this site.

That's our theory anyway. Scary stuff.

Talk about writing your dissertation over and over again!

Let this be a lesson to all creative people.

Ahhhh . . . NPR did a piece on this Nickelback mashup about two years ago. Can a band plaigarize itself? Here's the link to find out:

Now I have a Nickelback song stuck in my head, and I don't even know which one. Ick.

Might be old, but it's still fantastic. And I like your theory, Fuse, though there's also an incredible number of odd folks with wacky ideas who hang out on the web. Or so I'm told. I mean, I'm not ONE OF THEM or anything.
