Couldn't you argue that a book like that is...um...educational?
Looking at the cover, I'd guess it's less about him *being* deep as... some other verb.
Wow. That'd wake you up one morning without the benefit of coffee. Hee! And um, yes. I think educational might work. For the librarians...
