And Speaking of Gremlins

It never rains but it pours.
According to the BookFinder Report, which monitors the most sought-after out-of-print books, '98 to 99 per cent of all books ever published are now out of print.'

Titles that American readers most wanted to get their hands on last year include: The Bed Book by Sylvia Plath, The Mint by T. E. Lawrence, The Gremlins by Roald Dahl, Myra Breckenridge by Gore Vidal, The Science of Life by H. G. Wells and Sex by Madonna.
The Bed Book, for what it's worth, is greatly beloved of one of the kids in the Homeschooler Bookgroup I run. I was delighted beyond all measure when I heard that Sylvia Plath had written a children's book of her own. Small wonder it's hard to find. You can read the rest of the article here.

Thanks to Maud Newton for the link.

Plath also did 'The It-Doesn't-Matter-Suit,' another children's book. My copy was published in '96 with specially commissioned illustrations by Rotraut Susanne Berner. Have no idea if this is still in print; now I'll have to look.
