Dr. Suess Is "The Man"

Remember how much fun we all had listening to that neat website where someone did a dead-on impression of Bob Dylan singing Dr. Seuss stories? Yeah. I guess we all forgot that Dr. Seuss is essentially a big corporation now and big corporations don't have much of a sense of humor.

So look what's happened. *sniffle*

I didn't get hear this before they took it down, but the reviews look great. Forcing its removal is probably a mistake, just as yanking copyrighted segments from YouTube is often a mistake. People get motivated to learn more when they see clips and take-offs on the Internet. And this enterprise was apparently good advertising for Dylan as well as Seuss -- hard to do in one fell swoop!

Well it was fun. I kept it running during my Dr. Seuss birthday party at the library the Saturday after his actual birthday and you should have heard the parents amazement when they realized WHO was singing and WHAT he was singing.

fun.
