$500-an-Hour Tutors the Latest Teenage Accessory
Sometimes I hate this city.

I do not think you can blame New York City for this. Perhaps the parents, perhaps the teens, but not the city.

I know. But what other city contains such critters as these?

I don't know if our area (SF Bay Area) has these high-priced tutors, but I know that there are lots of parents who wished there were. I tutor creative writing, and I charge $20/hour for a small group, and these parents are waiting in line to shell out this money. And then they all want advice on how to get their 10-year old into an Ivy League school.

Hey, I read that article, Fuse, and thought...hmmm...sounds like a darn good job :)

Oh, don't think that didn't occur to me. Let's see. How much do you think parents would shell out for me to teach their children basic library skills?

Yeah. That's what I thought too.
