Buckbeak Would Approve

A good children's author's blog is usually worth its weight in gold. Normally, however, I tend to skip their discussions of talking with kids in schools. Just the same, Mitali Perkins had a posting today that contained something that caught my eye. It's from a letter a child wrote to Ms. Perkins after the writer visited their school:

P.S. I was the girl at the end who was talking to you about putting ferrets in the freezer.
