Okay. Awesome.
Good news. Two of our AWOL kidlit blogger have come back and they've plenty to report. First off, in case that post I just did on library furniture got you all hepped up, check out some of the photography Esme Codell just posted after she visited Reading Reptile in Kansas City. You will recall that this is the same store that produced the magnificent Tomie dePaolo Vs. Maurice Sendak Deathmatch. Apparently they're not too shabby when it comes to designing either. Esme has the skinny on how one goes about creating George & Martha's room (Marshall not Albee), a baby Sunny hanging in a cage from Count Olaf's tower, or a remarkable Gannett frieze.
Speaking of babies (sans the hanging) Pixie Stix Kids is up and running again. What with the arrival of a new babe, one cannot blame Kristen McLean for wanting to slow down a little. Still, it's nice to see her new list of The Essential Dozen: New Parent(ing) Books.
Welcome back, lasses.
