Breaking Deadwood-like News
The cast of Coraline has just added actor Ian McShane of Deadwood fame to its cast. The cast now includes Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Dawn French, and Jennifer Saunders. Says the article, "McShane will voice Mr. Bobinski, a beet-eating Russian giant who lives upstairs from Coraline in her alternate reality".

Between this and His Dark Materials casting news, I now really feel as though these movies WILL be made, instead of all talk and no action!
