It's Up!

The Mother Reader list of suggested Best Books of 2006 (as proposed by kidlit bloggers) is up and running. Says the site, "It was amazing how many different books were put forward, with very little overlap. The clearest winners with four or five votes each are The Book Thief, King Dork, Nick & Norah, Yellow Star, and BabyMouse: Beach Babe."

Yay, Babymouse and Yellow Star. Next year let's all read up on our graphic novels, m'darlings.

Yeah, nobody but you mentioned graphic novels at all. Well, except for BabyMouse. Maybe for the Top Picks for 2006 Final Edition, which by the time we've all recieved and read the books of 2006 should post about, hmm, June 2007.

Thanks for the link. Love the traffic coming from your site. And, hey, look! I can comment here again. Yeah!

Yay!
Nice to have you back. But are you telling me that nobody read American Born Chinese. Oh lordy lordy. A librarian's job is never done.
